A warm and welcoming home for a young, art collecting couple.
Phase I of this project focused on the ground floor of this beautiful old home in the forest, with our scope including the living room, dining room, kitchen, and primary bedroom. Phase II is ongoing and will include upstairs guest bedrooms and common spaces.
To contrast the couple's eclectic and worldly art collection, a muted color palette was selected as a way to let each displayed object shine. A muted plaster backsplash and walls, paired with the large custom dining table and subtly textured textiles bring warmth and depth to the home, without compromising the beauty of the lovingly assembled collection.
